Brief biography about Vasil Popovski Ph.D.

Vasil Popovski was born in 1963. In 1991, he graduated from theFaculty of Philosophy in Skopje, department of Philosophy. In 1995, he completed his postgraduate studies at the Institute for Sociological Political and Juridical Research – Skopje in Human Resource Management and upon defending the master’s thesis he obtained M.Sc. in Human Resource Management. In 2001, at the Institute of Economics-Skopje he defended the doctoral dissertation: “The Impact of the Organizational Culture on the Business Activity of the Enterprises” and obtained Ph.D. in Economics. He has worked at the Institute of Economics Skopje, University “Ss. Cyril and Methodius” in Skopje since 1996.In the highest scientific title – scientific advisor was elected in 2007. In 2012, he obtained the highest academic scientific title – a full time professor, and his current appointment is Full time Professor of International Management.

He has actively participated in the preparation of scientific research and applied projects and scientific meetings, conferences, seminars, congresses and symposia in the country and abroadand performs teaching at second and third cycle (postgraduate and doctoral studies) at the University of Ss. Cyril and Methodius in Skopje. He has undertaken study visits in France, Spain, Germany, Austria, Holland, Hungary, Slovenia, and Moldova. Since 2008, he has been the Head of the second-cycle study program in International Management within the Institute. He is an author of numerous works, books among which:“The Impact of the Organizational Culture on the Business Activity of the Enterprise”, “Managing cultural differences in the Republic of Macedonia”, Performance Management”, “Innovation and Entrepreneurship”, International Management.
