Brief biography about Angela Zafirova MSc

Angela Zafirova was born in 1993 in Skopje, where she completed primary and secondary education. She continued her education at the University American College Skopje, where she completed her undergraduate and postgraduate studies. She received the title of Bachelor of Economics in Business economics and Organizational sciences in 2015. She received the title Master in Business economics and Banking after defending her master’s thesis entitled: “Relationship between liquidity and profitability: Empirical study of the pharmaceutical industry in the Republic of North Macedonia”. She earned her master’s degree in May 2018 with great success.

During her postgraduate studies, she worked as an assistant auditor in the audit company Grant Thornton in Skopje.

In February 2020 she was employed as an assistant in the subjects of statists, mathematics, banking, research methods and introduction to management at the International Balkan University in Skopje.

She joined the Institute of Economics–Skopje, University “Ss. Cyril and Methodius” in December 2021 and her current position is Assistant of Financial management.

She has participated in the implementation of the research program of the Institute and in many projects and studies, primarily in the filed financial management.

She is currently enrolled in doctoral studies in the field of organizational sciences and management at the School of Doctoral studies at the University “Ss. Cyril and Methodius” in Skopje.

She actively participates in professional and scientific conferences in the country and abroad, where she has published several papers and an author and co-author.
