Brief biography about Katerina Hadzi Naumova Mihajlovska Ph.D.

 

Katerina Hadzi Naumova-Mihajlovska was born in 1979 in Skopje. She graduated from the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Food, University “Ss. Cyril and Methodius” in Skopje in 2003. 

In 2010 she completed her postgraduate studies in Agribusiness at the Institute of Economics-Skopje and with the defense of her master’s thesis on the topic: “Instruments of marketing mix in the function of organic production” she obtained an academic degree with a master’s degree in economics.

In 2014, she obtained Ph.D. in Economics upon defense of the doctoral dissertation “Opportunities and prospects for Total Quality Management implementation in organic producer associations in the Republic of Macedonia”.

She started working at the Institute of Economics-Skopje as a Junior Research Assistant in June 2007 and her current appointment is Associate professor in field of Management in Agriculture. She is involved in the realization of the scientific research program of the Institute of Economics and participates in the preparation of scientific research and application projects and studies in the field of agribusiness, agro-management and green economy.

Actively participates in numerous scientific meetings, conferences, seminars and congresses and is the author of numerous scientific papers published in the country and abroad.

Within the postgraduate studies at the Institute of Economics-Skopje, she is engaged as a professor in the subjects Economics in Agriculture, Agromarketing, Agrotourism, Green Economy, Green Logistics, Environmental Economics and Quality and Standardization.
